The evening in photos: A new Miss Destin is crowned for 2023

Eight girls participated in the Miss Destin Pageant. Winners are from left, Caroline Pitchlynn, first runner-up; Carrington Phillips, Miss Destin 2023; and Kasidy Braden, second runner-up.

Caroline Pitchlynn was the recipient of the Miss Congeniality Award as well as first runner-up in the Miss Destin Pageant. Presenting her with the award is Miss Destin 2022 Ella Kathryn Campbell.

Carrington Phillips, center, was all smiles as she heard her named called as Miss Destin 2023. The reaction from her fellow contestants was priceless. From left are Caroline Pitchlynn, Phillips and Whitney O'Keefe.

Carrington Phillips is Miss Destin 2023. She is a senior at Destin High School and is "honored" to represent her school and community at the Rodeo.
