LuLu's Noon Year's Eve filled with fun just for kids

More than 1,500 beach balls dropped over the sandy beach overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay at LuLu's at the Noon Year's Eve celebration.

It was non-stop, kid-friendly fun for hundreds of families with excitement around every corner at the 8th Annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration at LuLu’s restaurant in Destin.

The day featured arts and crafts, face painting, live music by Captain Davy and his crew, and more. But the highlight of the event was the kid’s countdown to noon with a huge ball drop of more than 1,500 beach balls over the sandy beach overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay.

Captain Davy and his crew entertained the children at the New Year's event at LuLu's.

Right after the beach-ball drop, the children stomped on bubble wrap on walkways throughout the restaurant for kid-safe ‘fireworks’.

“On behalf of our owner, Lucy Buffet, we want to extend Happy New Year’s greetings to all. Our annual Noon Year’s Eve tradition is always such a memorable treat for kids and their families,” said LuLu’s General Manager Jerry Daly.

The children had fun running around and popping the bubble wrap at LuLu's.
