The Destin Snowbird Club enjoyed dancing at LuLu's at a recent TGIT (Thank Goodness It's Tuesday) event.

With a little over a month left in the snowbird season, the Destin Snowbird Club has plenty left on their plates to enjoy.

This year’s array of entertainment has continued to thrill the snowbirds attending the weekly meetings on Tuesdays, with one meeting at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 11 a.m.

The Lloyd Carter Band “can’t get to Destin fast enough,” according to Cindy Varnell, coordinator for the TGIT (Thank Goodness It’s Tuesday) event. This TGIT party will be at Lulu’s on Feb. 6 from 3-6 p.m. and is open to all badge-carrying Destin Snowbirds.

The Destin Snowbird Club packed out LuLu's for a TGIT event.

The Lloyd Carter Band is country music all the way from Georgia.

According to Destin Club President Ken Campbell, the band will start the day rolling’ for the snowbirds with music at the general membership meetings in the morning.

The Annual Craft Show, harbor cruises, casino trips, the Valentine’s Day Party, golfing events, the Ladies Luncheon, the Friendship Club, and more TGIT parties are ahead along with lots of other activities to choose from.

To get in on the fun, register online at thedestinsnowbirds.com or on Mondays, Feb. 5 and 12 from 10 a.m. until noon, at the Destin Community Center on Stahlman Avenue.
