Walton County Snowbirds stay busy

The Walton County Snowbirds (WCS) currently have 722 members and growing. They are ahead of the 2023 membership numbers. Why? Because they have fun in Florida.

As a retiree and snowbird, you may get tired of being asked, “what do you do all day?” The WCS have so many activities that their calendars are pretty busy.

For those who love the outdoors and/or exercise, they offer golf, basketball, pickleball, bowling, aerobics, line dancing, water aerobics, bike riding, tennis, and ballroom dancing.

If interested in music or art they have two ukulele groups, an art group, a creative writing group, and a crafts group.

The Walton County Snowbirds love to bowl.

They also have highly active card groups that include bridge, hand and foot, poker, euchre, and Mah-Jongg. The book club and discussion groups are also extremely popular. No doubt there is something for everyone.

For more information on registration and all the activities the club has to offer, go to the website at www.waltoncountysnowbirds.com or join the group Facebook page “Walton County Snowbirds.”
