New app to connect homeowners with verified lawn care service

FORT WALTON BEACH — A new app to help homeowners connect with verified local lawn care professionals is set to debut in Fort Walton Beach later this week.

GreenPal, a Nashville-based service provider, allows homeowners to list their lawn care needs along with service dates through the app. Verified companies can then submit bids based on details provided through Google Street, aerial images, and other data a homeowner provides.

Homeowners can choose their preferred lawn company based on vendor ratings, reviews and pricing.

"We're thrilled to extend our services to Fort Walton Beach, offering residents reliable, secure, and nearby lawn care," said GreenPal co-founder Gene Caballero in a news release.

When work is finished, the chosen lawn care company will send a time-stamped photo of the results; if satisfied, the customer can make a payment through the app, with options to schedule other appointments later.
