My Destin Beach Vacation wins big on opening night of coed softball. Here's a roundup

Travis Carroll connected for four hits to lead My Destin Beach Vacation in a 20-11 win over Fudpucker’s on opening night of the city of Destin’s Wednesday Night Coed Softball League at Morgan Sports Center. 

Carroll pounded two triples, a double and a single for four RBIs. 

At the end of two innings, My Destin Beach was up 8-6 and by the end of three they had stretched their lead to 15-8. My Destin Beach scored four more runs in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Michelle Corrigan tripled and doubled for three RBIs for My Destin Beach and Brandon Blyden hit two triples and a single for two RBIs. 

Austin Marple and Caleb Love each connected for a triple and a single for an RBI for Fudpucker’s. Destinee Degroat ripped a triple for an RBI. 

Trevor Violette hit three singles for three RBIs for Green Air on opening night of the city of Destin's Coed Softball League. Green Air won 18-10 over Soundside Motor.

Kekambas 17, Pitch Please 11

After two innings, Kekambas led 8-2. In the fourth, Kekambas picked up six more runs for a 14-5 advantage over Pitch Please. 

Kekambas scored three runs in the fifth, while Pitch Please added six runs all together in the last three innings. 

Top batter for Kekambas was Steve Kertz with a triple and two singles for three RBIs. Jadyn Wanguard doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Sterling Livanzo tripled and doubled for three RBIs. 

Eli Fox led Pitch Please with a homer, two doubles and a single for four RBIs. Rae Richardson hit three singles for four RBIs, and Tony Barnett connected for two singles.

Green Air 18, Soundside Motor 10

After a slow start, Green Air scored two runs in the second and then exploded in the third for nine runs and an 11-1 lead over Soundside Motors. 

In the fourth inning, both teams scored four runs. Soundside brought in five runs in the fifth and Green Air added three as the 75-minute time limit expired. 

Trevor Violette hit three singles for three RBIs for Green Air. Anthony Bartolo tripled and doubled, while Caite Moser hit two singles for two RBIs. 

Tabitha Taylor connected for four singles for Soundside. Rolando Walters belted an inside-the-park home run and a single for two RBIs, and Jorge Gueuero hit two singles for an RBI. 

Reissue 31, The Rejects 16

Reissue took charge of the game early taking a 15-10 lead in the first two innings over The Rejects. 

In the third, Reissue scored six more runs for a 21-10 advantage. 

In the top of the fourth, The Rejects scored four, but Reissue answered in the bottom half with the 10-run limit. 

The Rejects scored two last runs in the top of the fifth as time ran out. 

Jason Little and Ruben Prieto each smacked a double and three singles for four RBIs for Reissue. Tiffany Werner hit three singles for three RBIs, and Andrew Wright clobbered a two-run homer over the right field fence. 

Lenny Matos tripled and hit two singles for three RBIs for The Rejects. Sam Fittes doubled and singled for two RBIs, and Jesse Santon singled.
